Most people who know me or read my books and blog will have realized by now that I love satire. Adore it. I’m always happy to poke gentle fun at myself, or at ideas I find ludicrous or unjust or harmful (like abstinence-only sex education, or Proposition 8 and similar), because laughter is one of the most precious things we humans have, in my humble opinion.
I’m not alone in this.
Thanks to a BBC article my attention was pointed to a fun, satirical Christian website, which wins my total respect for the sense of humor of its creators and contributors.

I consider myself an agnostic and can certainly appreciate religious humor. The hot, Mormon calendar was a hoot. I wish I knew someone I could give that to.
It certainly is a hoot. And hot. I know quite a few religious people who I think would appreciate one of those.
